Allergen Awareness Month May is Allergy Awareness Month and the food industry plays a critical role in protecting consumer health. In support of Allergy Awareness Month and with sesame being added as a major food allergen in the US by January 1, 2023, RQA continues to raise awareness by providing webinars to food manufacturing, restaurant, and food service employees. Attendees will learn about food allergens, understand what may trigger an allergic reaction, gain the necessary tools to develop an allergen management program and obtain recommended strategies to reduce risk for organizations. Upon completion of the webinar, attendees will receive a certificate of attendance.
