2025 Regulatory Delays Are in the Past – Now is the Time to Ensure Compliance with RQA

CosmeticsYes, there were delays in the release of FDA’s promised cosmetics current good manufacturing practices in December; however, FDA did issue PFAS reports and Guidance on Mandatory Recalls. As FDA continues to reshape their oversight of the cosmetics industry, 2026 is shaping up to be a year with significant opportunity to enable industry’s compliance.  Remember, FDA already has inspection and recall authority so there is no time like the present to ensure sanitation, quality and product safety controls are working as intended, teams are trained on your GMP policies, and corrective action procedures up to and including recall programs are established and ready to be used should the need arise. Early readiness is key to success. FDA’s recently released recall guidance document and industry best practices both provide frameworks and tips to enable you to lead your teams to successful and proactive approaches for MoCRA compliance in 2026.

How can RQA help?

  • Trainings
  • Inspections/Gap Analysis
  • Program development for recall and GMPs.
