FDA Resumes Domestic Surveillance Inspections

The US FDA recently announced plans to resume domestic inspections across all commodities beginning February 7, 2022. The FDA will continue with mission-critical domestic and foreign inspections and conduct previously planned foreign surveillance inspections that have received country clearance and fall within the CDC’s Level 1 or Level 2 COVID travel recommendation.

This month, RQA’s virtual training is focused on FSMA Foreign Supplier Verification Program.  Ensuring employees understand their roles and responsibilities for verification of foreign suppliers of food for human and animal consumption helps organizations achieve FDA food safety standard requirements.
