In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Health Canada, we are voluntarily recalling the “Ninja”-brand “Foodi” OP300-series Pressure Cookers/TenderCrisp Air Fryers to address reports that the pressure-cooking lids of these cookers can be opened while the cooker is pressurized, resulting in burn injuries from hot contents.

If you have a Ninja-brand multi-cooker, please check the rating label on the back of the unit, near the power cord, and look for the model number. If the model number is any of those listed below, your unit is affected by this recall.

If you have an affected unit, please immediately stop using your unit’s pressure-cooking function and remove and discard the pressure-cooking lid. Until your replacement pressure-cooking lid arrives, you can continue to use other functions, but please do not use the pressure-cooking function.

How do I install my replacement pressure-cooking lid?

  • First, as soon as you’re done registering to receive the free replacement lid that SharkNinja is providing through this recall, simply remove your unit’s existing pressure-cooking lid as you normally would and discard it. Do not use the unit’s pressure-cooking function until you receive the replacement lid. Then, when you receive your replacement lid, simply attach that lid whenever you want to use your unit’s pressure-cooking function, just as you normally would. That’s it! No special tools or techniques required. As a reminder, for your safety, please always be sure to follow the cooker’s warnings and safe use instructions in the product manual, which is available at this link for US customers or this link for Canadian customers on our website if you’ve misplaced the manual.

What should I do with my old pressure-cooking lid?

  • No, this recall affects only the cooker’s pressure-cooking lid.
