Independent Contractor Opportunities

What type of projects will you work on?
RQA field representatives perform a wide variety of jobs. Job assignments are awarded based on your geographic location and in accordance with the skills required for the job.

Product Retrieval jobs vary in size and scope. It may be as simple as purchasing a single product from a local supermarket, or more complex such as purchasing five different variants of a product, each with a unique package code from ten different stores. Products are then carefully packed and shipped to our client.

Consumer Complaint Retrieval jobs consist of contacting a consumer via phone, scheduling a time to pick up the unsatisfactory product, picking up the product and shipping to our client.

Recall & Withdrawal jobs are large scale product retrievals. You will be required to visit several stores in your area and examine the store shelf and stock for affected product. You will then purchase the product and either destroy or ship back to our client.

Quality Assurance Auditing jobs are detailed assessments of a product at retail. You will typically visit five to ten stores and spend between 30 and 90 minutes at each store gathering data on products and the store environment.

Facility Auditing jobs are available for professionals with backgrounds in facility auditing. Auditors provide our clients with expert information they can utilize to improve their manufacturing process. Facility Auditors may become involved with the following projects:
• GMP, HACCP or Quality System Audits
• Risk Assessment Audits
• NFPA-Safe Audits
• Client Protocol Audits
• Contract Packer Selection and Monitoring
• Due Diligence Audits

Manufacturing Services jobs vary in size and scope. The assignments can range from restacking a pallet to inspecting several pallets of product for defects, tracking information and reworking the product at a local distribution center or warehouse. Independent Contractors may also be contacted to perform sampling for regulatory agencies. Jobs for Manufacturing Services may range from a few hours to several weeks.

What is my time commitment?
RQA has structured its professional network to honor the commitments that you already have. We offer you the opportunity to work on projects within a flexible time frame. Our goal is to provide quality service to our clients, while at the same time, respecting your time constraints. We offer you project work based on your geographic location and in accordance with the skills that we require for each job. Some projects are scheduled to repeat over a set time period. For all projects, we negotiate a time frame within which the job is to be performed. You always have the option to accept or decline new project opportunities.

How am I compensated for my services?
RQA offers competitive hourly rates and travel fees which align with industry averages for professionals. Advance payments will be sent to you on projects which require large product purchase. Project fees and expenses are tabulated and a final check is issued within a short time frame upon completion of a project.

To join our worldwide field staff, completely fill out and sign the five forms below, enclose a passport size photo (for your rep ID card), a copy of your Drivers License (front and back) and mail or fax the forms to our Corporate Offices. Those who reside in Canada do not need to fill out a W-9 form, but do need to include SIN numbers on the first page of the application.
